Over the past three decades, Larry Weiss has achieved notable
success as a songwriter, artist and producer. His songs have

of the Century.
Years ago he recognized the marque value of Rhinestone Cowboy
and was the driving force that put together the film that starred
Sylvester Stallone and Dolly Parton based on his song.
Weiss has been the president of his own publishing companies
for over 25 years and has expanded into film and TV. He spent
twelve years developing “The Last Magician” for the
feature film. Part of his research included living and writing
in Chicago and Alaska. Current projects include developing a
T.V. docudrama about Medal of Honor recipients. Also in development
is “Rhinestone Cowboy…the Musical”. Weiss owns
a number of trademarks on “Rhinestone Cowboy”, recently
announced there are plans to launch a theme club franchise bearing
the name.
